100th Anniversary Schedule
Califon Borough Celebrates 100 Years with a Three-Day Weekend
October 12th - 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM at Firemen’s Field at 39 Academy Street. The Califon Firemen will be cooking hot dogs and hamburgers from. Bring your lawn chairs for a night under the stars with food, a beer garden, fire truck rides, a bonfire and fireworks.
October 13th - 10 AM Califon Island Park. Food trucks will be available.
October 13th - 10 AM and 12 PM Califon’s historic district. Walking tours will visit the Nellie Hoffman House, the Cabin by the River, the Califon Train Stations and the 2nd floor of Rambo’s Country Store.
October 13th - 10 AM Califon Historical Society open.
October 13th - 10 AM Museum at the Califon Train Station open.

DEA National Take Back Initiative
The Washington Township Police Department will be hosting “Operation Take Back New Jersey” as a local collection site, as part of the Operation Take Back NJ medicine disposal day. October 7th – The Califon Fire Department kicks off their monthly pancake breakfast. 7 AM to 11:30 AM Pancake Breakfasts are held the 1st Sunday of every month through May.
*** The Fire Department is always looking for new members to join. If you are14 years of age and up you can participate. Their meetings are the last Monday of every month, and start at 7 PM.
